NAME: Sean James

AGE: 38

GUIDING EXPERIENCE: 9 years.

PRACTICAL BASS FISHING EXPERIENCE: 16 years

TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCE : 10 years.

PHILOSOPHY ON GUIDING : Guiding people is just as much an art form as fishing and it takes time to learn how to teach. The ultimate satisfaction for any guide that truly loves their job is to see their clients have a great fishing experience and maybe catch the fish of a lifetime. That is what it is all about for me. My goal is to make you a client for life, not for a day. I make a living teaching people to fish and there is nothing better than that.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD GUIDE : First of all, you have to love fishing. Spending time on the water and be well informed is still the only way to stay in tune to the fishing, I go the extra mile to give you the best fishing experience under any conditions.

PHILOSOPHY ON BASS FISHING : Think outside of the box. I love to modify lures and create new techniques based on how fish are relating to their prey. As far as big bass are concerned, I don’t fish them like little bass, because they have been conditioned to boat pressure and they do not typically live or feed in normal places where most anglers fish. Bass are always feeding somewhere on the lake, sometimes you have to get creative to find out where what when and how. Using variations of old school and new techniques combined with high end tackle, rods, reels, sonar and GPS is how you stay in tune. You have to put your time on the water period.

SPECIALY TECHNIQUES : Swim Bait fishing, deep water structure fishing, top water fishing, reaction bait fishing and finesse fishing.
