PRE SPAWN AND SPRINGTIME ACTION!

With the transition from cold to warm weather/ water the spawn has begun. To top things off we have begun to get regular trout plants and we are scheduled for one this week. Swimbait fishing is on fire. This means that prime time has arrived. If you want to go fishing don’t wait, make it happen. The fish are on beds and the bite is as good as it gets right now. The biggest bass are coming out to spawn and feed up before they spawn, in the shallows. As the water begins to warm up the bass will have an increased metabolism and they will begin to feed more often and become more aggressive. We will catch them using a variety of techniques such as swimbaits, Senkos, Ikas, power dropshot, texas rig, soft jerkbaits, jigs, sight fishing and more.
